  Letters of Appreciation

Letter from Philippines

Dear Jennifer, Sherry, Dale, and all the 20th ASA Congress Committee members,

What a fabulous job all of you there in Taiwan have done!  I can just imagine the extra work you all have done in preparation for the 20th ASA Congress while continuing in your full time position in your respective offices.  Also, walking up and down in great excitement during the Congress days itself, making sure that everyone's needs are met, took a lot of effort and dedication on your part.

On behalf of the Philippine delegation, we would like to let you know that our stay in Taiwan is a time well spent, because it was a great conference!

I'm sure it was worth it all on Taiwan association's part, knowing that your achievement will make such a positive difference in the career path of all the participants. Well done!

Without your thoughtful planning and oversight, an undertaking like this would have been nearly impossible.

Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for your continued success.

Luz M. de Jesus

PAS President

Dear All Great Friends,

Once again it was such a delightful experience joining you all for one week full of laughters and sincere friendship.  Meeting dear friends, some nearly 40 years ago, like Gin, and making new and refreshing young ones has enriched my life tremendously.  I vow not to miss future ones

from now on unless I'm bedridden, haha.  The only bit of shadow was that we nearly had to pay extra weight because myself alone had two extra heavy bags full of goodies.  Such fun though exchanging gifts.

Thank you very, very much to Jennifer, Lucy, Sherry, Dale and all committee members for your hard work in making a great success of the 20th ASA Congress.  We all had a great time.

See you all again in Dacca in 2012.

Stay in good health and spirits.

Best regards,

Sukanya

Please convey our warm regards to Peter and Lucy Dunn for their kind invitation to a lovely welcome dinner with an exclusive entertainment.  I especially enjoyed the ancient Chinese music!

Once again, thank you very much and we hope to see you all in Bangladesh, if not, in Bangkok!

Please take care.
